Jeovanny Tovar, is a competitive athlete, fitness coach, and corrective exercise specialist. Jeovanny competes in Muay Thai kickboxing and has competed for several kickboxing/MMA promotions in the Northeast, most notably Lion Fights Promotion. Jeovanny started his career becoming a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He is also a Russian Kettlebell Certified instructor through Dragon Door (RKC). To finish 2016 in style, Jeovanny, also received his Precision Nutrition certification to help clients where they struggle the most РFOOD and its eternal mystery. When not training clients or preparing for competitions, Jeovanny can be found reading science fiction, watching The Walking Dead, using his kids to do silly things, or planning his next cheat day… he really, really loves cheat days.

Before becoming involved in health and fitness, Jeovanny held positions in Information Technology for small business pharmaceutical companies. With IT being a high-in-demand field at the time, and the birth of his son, Jeovanny found himself highly stressed, severely out of shape, and discouraged. Like most hard-working individuals who are pressed for time, Jeovanny searched for QUICK solutions online only to find himself muddled by all the conflicting information on the web about dieting, weight loss, and general fitness.

This is when things had to change. Though trial and error, Jeovanny discovered effective routines that complement both nutrition, and strength training. Through his journey in martial arts and fitness, Jeovanny Tovar went from 225 pounds – to 160 pounds and NEVER LOOKED BACK! This success, mixed with his experience regarding the conflicting information found online in weight management, is what led Jeovanny Tovar to pursue what he would later discover as his true passion and become a fitness expert.
